Frequently asked questions

Before you request a quote

For tea, yerba mate and tobacco. At our plant in Oberá, Misiones, Argentina, we design and build machines made for these three leaf crops, not adaptations of generic machinery.

There are two options:

  • Self-propelled: the MYH-1500 (yerba mate) and the MTH-1000 (tea) work without a tractor, with their own engine, an air-conditioned cab and 4×4 traction.
  • Tractor-mounted: they are installed on the high-clearance tractor you already own. They are compatible with John Deere, Pauny, Cherry, Farmtrac and Fiat.

If you’re not sure which one suits you, tell us your acreage, the type of terrain and the equipment you work with, and we’ll recommend the best option.

Yes. Every plantation is different: slope, row spacing, plant height and soil type change from one field to the next. Before quoting, we review your case and adjust the equipment to your plantation. Our harvesters are rugged, with 4×4 traction, and built for difficult terrain. Even so, always check with us first: we’d rather confirm the machine will perform in your field.

Our machines are designed to harvest leaves and branches, not grains or fruit. If your crop is harvested that way (for example cannabis, aromatic herbs or stevia), we can study an adaptation or a custom development. Write to us with your plantation details.

Yes. We offer more than 30 products, including implements (inter-row weeders, pruners, trimmers, sprayers and fertilizer spreaders), accessories and original spare parts, to keep your equipment running all season.

Today Lory harvesters are working in Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, the United States and Kenya. But we export to any country: we handle the logistics, travel to your field and leave the equipment up and running.

Yes. Our technical team travels to your field, in Argentina or abroad, to assemble the harvester, fine-tune it on your plantation and train your operators. You get personalized support from the very first day of harvest.

All our harvesters come with a 1-year warranty that covers manufacturing defects and includes technical advice: we support you with the use, adjustment and maintenance of the equipment throughout the first season. After the warranty, we stay with you with original spare parts and technical service.

Yes. A team of specialized engineers and technicians answers your questions before, during and after your purchase: choosing the equipment, setup, maintenance and spare parts. You can reach us by WhatsApp, email or phone, Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Argentina time).

Yes. Lory Máquinas holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, issued by IRAM and internationally recognized by IQNet (registration RI 9000-8297). It covers our entire process: the design, manufacturing and repair of machinery for the mechanized harvesting of leaf crops. We renewed it in 2026.
