For almost a year we had been in touch online with an English company interested in our work. In September 2017 it invited us to visit its tea plantations in the Changoí region of Kenya, in East Africa: a territory with soils similar to those of Misiones, Argentina, and constant temperatures all year round, as it lies on the Equator.

We thank the owner, the manager and all the staff, who welcomed us with great kindness, showed us around their plantations and facilities, and openly shared how they harvest.
It was a very rewarding trip: we learned about their working methods, their workforce, their progress and innovations, their care for product quality and the environment, and their culture and language.

We are proud that, in other parts of the world where tea is grown, people look with interest at what is being developed in our region. It is not an individual achievement: it is the result of years of exchange with customers, tea pickers and our own team.
