The video shows the Lory MTH-500 tea harvester, built in Oberá, Misiones, Argentina, working at full capacity on ground far more demanding than Argentine tea fields. The mud left by the constant rain in Palora, Morona Santiago, Ecuador, calls for special tyres, 4×4 drive and a structure designed for those conditions. Even so, the machine turned and unloaded quickly, providing the first performance indicators.

The harvester has a potential output of 2000 kg per hour with a single operator, who handles both driving and unloading by tipping the collection bin. Thanks to its air-based shoot conveying system, the green leaf arrives in excellent condition. The results exceeded the customer’s expectations: harvesting time per plot and the time to carry the shoots to the drying facility were both reduced.
