On November 21, 2018, we successfully shipped our first machine to Kenya. It is a tea harvester with additional capabilities for pruning, skiffing, side trimming and fertilizing.

The machine has a high-clearance chassis that houses a John Deere tractor, which powers the machine and its implements. It is a model similar to the one we sell in Misiones, Argentina, with one difference: a device that carries the tea from the cutting unit to the collection bin, ensuring high-quality shoots.

In addition to the harvesting equipment, our customer purchased the pruning, skiffing, side-trimming and fertilizing implements, along with a kit of spare parts and tools for maintaining the machine.

After-sales service on site

After-sales services are included: when the harvester arrives at its destination in February, Silvia, Jorge and a Lory Máquinas technician will travel to Africa to carry out the assembly, installation and training on the use and maintenance of the equipment.
